But before we jump right in, you should understand a few things about that mifi model,

  2. Its one of the latest model from the company.
  3. Such model runs a software version not later than 2017.

1. Marvell drivers

These are a key and must have drivers for your devices to be able to detect the mifi

This is used to connect the mifi to the computer

3. Charged MiFi

Steps to unlock an M028AT marvell MiFi

1. Unlocking with Mifitool

Download the MiFitool version 1.4.0.0
Plug in the mifi
where you see com36, make sure your mifi is detected too using a different comport
click the imei button to detect mifi imei button as detected in the picture
click the button painted with black, it unlocks the mifi
the next button below it will lock it

But if the unlock fails, then proceed to the next step

2. Changing IMEI number

You can use the tool above but trust me this version doesn't lag so much. Make sure you download it from the link at the bottom of this page

1. Download the tool
2. Extract the tool with drivers
3. Run MIFITOOL1.0.0.3.exe
4. Make sure you backup current IMEI by noting it somewhere maybe in the notepad text file
5. Input a 15 digit number in the box marked black and press the button with a tick
6. Your mifi will be unlocked

But if the mifi doesn't, then use the next step.
